It's the first day of Spring! And what a beautiful day it is here in Little Rock, Arkansas. The daffodils are blooming, the trees are budding out, the sun's shining, and the birds are singing...Have you been taking advantage of the March weather to celebrate National Crochet Month?

My favorite take-along project is a potholder. I've made this potholder so many times now that I don't even need the instructions. This pattern has served me well in hospital waiting rooms, doctor's offices, traveling, waiting in line, etc. And I can't tell you how many friends I've made just cause they want to know what I'm doing.

To find out more about National Crochet Month check out the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) website. It's time to grab your portable crochet project and hit the road. Share your love of crochet with everyone you meet!
