Can you tell that I really like tote bags? I do seem to babble about them an awful lot…and my motto is, of course, just say "no" to paper and plastic.
Anyway, for those of you who quilt, I've found a new book of quilted tote projects called Sew and Go Totes. With Kristine Poors' nine innovative designs, you can turn your favorite textiles into original quilted bags. Groceries, portfolios, gym clothes, books, diapers—no matter what you need to tote, a quilted bag can handle the job.
The book features an assortment of take-me-to-the-store (or the beach) bags, a pocket-sized accessory bag, an oversized duffle any teen would be thrilled to carry off for the weekend, a feminine handbag, the ultimate portfolio-sized crafty tote, and a backpack you'll be proud to take anywhere.
With Sew and Go Totes, your gear is always ready when you are!
