I've got a new favorite papercrafting book. Over the years, Leisure Arts, partnered with Creating Keepsakes, has published some absolutely fabulous, great big wonderful idea books. #15941 Encyclopedia of Scrapbooking was the perfect resource, #4293 Scrapbooking with Your Kids was pretty cool, but I'm totally enamored with their newest—#4294 You've Got Flair!.
In this newest addition to the Treasury of Favorites series produced exclusively for Leisure Arts, the editors of Creating Keepsakes scrapbook magazine have assembled their best articles on finding your personal style and learning how to let your "inner artist" out to play. (And don't we all need a little encouragement when it comes to our playtime?) In You’ve Got Flair!, I've discovered over 600 designs and tips guaranteed to nudge you out of your creative rut and teach you clever techniques for embellishing your pages. I'm loving the chance to experiment with "Artistic Journaling," "Oodles of Doodles," "Not Just Another Pretty Accent," "Use Those Scraps," and "Not Your Mama’s Iron-Ons"—just to name a few of the fabulous features in this inspirational guidebook.
You know your best projects are the ones that really show off your personality, and You've Got Fair! is packed with techniques for doing just that. Get a copy. If you're like me, you might learn something.
