Do you have beady little eyes?

No, I don’t mean do you have small, strange-looking peepers.  But do you have an eye for beading and jewelry making?  You’re in luck, if so, because you’ll be able to outfit yourself in beautiful beads and baubles.  I’ve been seeing bolder beaded jewelry all over the place this season, and since I have friends who love to make beaded jewelry, I’ve been asking them to make me pieces like the ones I’ve seen in stores and online.  In particular, I’ve been coveting a multi-strand necklace of white beads, with the strands varying in texture and shade—sort of a found-materials version of the classic multi-strand pearl necklace, more eclectic style statement than conservative classic.  If you whip one up yourself (or have a friend kind enough to make one for you), I guarantee people will be stopping you on the street, asking where you got your fabulous of-the-moment accessory.

        Hi!
Those aprons really are cute, aren't they? My best suggestion for getting info about Home Companion magazine would be for you to visit Mary Engelbreit's website at www.maryengelbreit.com, and when you get there, click on the contact button at the bottom of the home page. They should be able to answer your question.
        Thanks!
